我想問下英語中逗號(hào)和分號(hào)在句子與句子之間怎么使用，謝謝

除了兩位親講的, 再補(bǔ)充其他知識(shí):

當(dāng)你看見有but, and, also, as well as, because, so 等等的字眼時(shí)。 例句:

I didn't wake up on time this morning so I was late for school。 (逗號(hào)在 so 前面是可有可無, 一般不會(huì)寫因?yàn)榈诙€(gè)句子自己不能獨(dú)立, 不能算完整所以可有可無, 只是為原本的句子做注解而已)
