同時也曝露下實際應用中遇到的一些問題：

問題一、遷移配置過程中有勾選MAC遷移選項，但是偶爾會有遷移過后MAC有變得情況。
問題二、遷移之后window 2008 R2，遠程桌面及端口3389不能使用，緊遇見一個案例，大多數情況都是成功的。

How to migrate vm from VMware ESXI to Nutanix AHV

Background

Requirement:
VMware vSphere
? VMware vSphere 5.5 or higher
Source virtual machine requirements
? Installed and up to date VMware tools
? Virtual hardware version 7 or newer
Supported guest OS
? Windows 2016 Standard, 2016 Datacenter
? Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10
? Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012, 2012 R2, 2016
? CentOS 6.4, 6.5, 6.6, 6.7, 6.8, 7.0, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3
? Ubuntu 12.04.5, 14.04.x, 16.04.x, 16.10, Server, Desktop (32-bit and 64-bit)
? FreeBSD 9.3, 10.0, 10.1,10.2, 10.3, 11.0
? SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP3 / SP4
? SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 Oracle Linux 6.x, 7.x
? RHEL 6.4, 6.5, 6.6, 6.7, 6.8, 7.0, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3

Procedure:

Enter the link to access xtract portal

2 . Follow below diagram to refresh the VMware inventory

3.Click the button “New Migration Plan” to create new job

4.Input any new name

5.Follow diagram to select the target container and click the button “Next”

6.Search the VM name that need to be migrated

7.Follow diagram to select the vm, it will be showed on right hand side

8.Input window or linux credential in order to install device driver, select the target network and enable the MAC address from the source VMs

9.Click the button “Save and Start” to start the migration

10.Below diagram show the authentication is validating. If it doesn’t pass, it will show fail

11.If there is no problem, it will start the migration as below diagram

12.It may allow to click “Migration in Progress” to the status in detail

13.Progress is still running as below diagram

14.Migration is almost finished and wait to cutover manually

15.Select the vms to cutover

16.If no problem, click the button “Cutover” and click the button “Continue” to continue the progress

There are 7 packets lost during the migration as below result

22.Vms have been migrated to Nutanix. If system is power on, it will automatically power on. Otherwise, it will still power down.

23.Vms will be shutdown automatically in Vmware ESXI
