?Cover Letter, 即投稿信，是論文投遞時與論文一起發送給編輯的信件，其目的是讓編輯在閱讀你的論文之前，簡單了解你文章的基本情況。Cover letter是編輯對論文的第一印象，也是初步評判你論文是否可以被期刊接收的重要依據。Cover letter包含的內容有

• 期刊編輯的姓名（不清楚的時候用Dear editor）；
• 投稿文章的標題
• 投稿的道德規范免責說明（是否一稿多投）
• 稿件有無特殊處理要求（屏蔽某些競爭者成為審稿人）
• 文章簡介（研究背景，論文重要發現，發表在期刊上的原因，引發讀者興趣的部分）
• 通訊作者信息（作者姓名，所屬機構，通訊地址，聯系電話，郵箱）
