Every year, more children are getting fatter. Doctors believe this is because children are becoming lazy. Years ago, children would run and play in parks and get a lot of exercise. After school, they would play sports and do things outside their houses. Some people believe that computers and video games are to blame for so many overweight children. Instead of getting exercise, they are sitting in front of a computer and surfing the Internet or playing video games. Doctors believe parents should make sure their children eat healthy meals and get plenty of exercise. Parents should only let their children use the computer one or two hours a day.
每年有更多的小孩子變胖了。醫(yī)生相信這是因?yàn)樾『⒆儜械木壒省６嗄昵?#xff0c;小孩子都在公園中跑來跑去和玩耍，也做很多運(yùn)動(dòng)。放學(xué)后，他們會(huì)在屋外玩耍。有些人認(rèn)為是計(jì)算機(jī)和電玩造就了這么多的胖小子。他們老坐在計(jì)算機(jī)前上網(wǎng)或玩電動(dòng)而不是做運(yùn)動(dòng)。醫(yī)生認(rèn)為父母親應(yīng)該確定他們的小孩吃得健康和有足夠的運(yùn)動(dòng)量。父母親應(yīng)該只讓他們的小孩一天之中使用一、兩個(gè)小時(shí)的計(jì)算機(jī)就好。

介紹動(dòng)詞blame?及短語介詞instead of?的用法：
1.blame?可作名詞或及物動(dòng)詞，表?''責(zé)怪''、''歸咎''，有下列重要用法：
a.?動(dòng)詞
blame +?人?+ for +?事物??責(zé)怪某人某事物
= blame +?事物?+ on +?人??把某事物規(guī)就某人
= be to blame for +?事物???造成某事物的原因，為……負(fù)責(zé)
例:? Don't?blame?me?for?the mistake.
= Don't?blame?the mistake?on?me.
別把這個(gè)錯(cuò)怪在我身上。
You?are to blame for?the mistake.
=You?should be responsible for?the mistake.
你要為這個(gè)錯(cuò)負(fù)責(zé)。
The driver's carelessness?was to blame for?the accident.
=The driver's carelessness?was the reason for?the accident.
駕駛員的粗心釀成這起意外。
b.名詞
put the blame on sb?怪罪某人
You made the mistake, but you want to put the blame on me. That's ridiculous!
你犯了錯(cuò)，卻想把錯(cuò)怪在我身上。真是荒謬！
2.instead of...
a.?取代∕替代……
John went to meeting?instead of?me.
約翰替代我去開會(huì)。
b.?非但不……反而……
Instead of?working?hard, Peter fools around all day.
彼得非但不用功，反而整天鬼混。
注意:?上句句首的?Instead of?亦可用?Rather than，之后接動(dòng)詞原形動(dòng)名詞均可，即：
