就在 2007 年 11 月 13 日，南非 Red Five lab 讓這個(gè)夢(mèng)想變成了事實(shí)！ Red Five lab 推出的是號(hào)稱第一個(gè)商業(yè)性軟件的 .NET Compact Framework s60 v3 （在 s60 v3 上運(yùn)行的 .Net 精簡(jiǎn)構(gòu)架。簡(jiǎn)稱 Net60 ）。從此，在采用 S60 3rd 系統(tǒng)的諾基亞、索愛(ài)手機(jī)上運(yùn)行 Windows Mobile 應(yīng)用程序就變成了現(xiàn)實(shí)。

S60基于Symbian操作系統(tǒng)，WM程序通過(guò)Net60 中間件平臺(tái)運(yùn)行于 Symbian 系統(tǒng)上，擔(dān)負(fù)了對(duì) WM 程序的載入、解釋工作，讓 Symbian 系統(tǒng)可以識(shí)別 WM 的程序并正確運(yùn)行。

Net60 Beta1 分手機(jī)端和 PC 端兩部分。環(huán)境配置如下：
1。手機(jī)端 Net60Beta1.sis 軟件：需運(yùn)行在 Symbian OS 9.0 9.1 9.2 ； S60 3rd Edition packs 1 、 2 的諾基亞和索愛(ài)手機(jī)上。還需 PC 套件、證書(shū)和簽名軟件。
2。PC 端 Net60Beta1.msi 軟件：需 Windows XP 、 Windows Server 2003 、 Windows Vista 。PC端需.net Framework 2.0以上版本

通過(guò)中間件來(lái)運(yùn)行WM，性能上肯定有所影響，而且穩(wěn)定性上也很懷疑，但這是一個(gè)美好的前景，希望未來(lái)在所有的手機(jī)平臺(tái)上都有WM的身影。
