論文提交（Paper Submission）

COLING 2022 invites submissions of up to eight (8) pages maximum, excluding references, for long papers, and four (4) pages, excluding references, for short papers and system demonstrations. Upon acceptance, final versions of papers will be given one additional page – up to nine (9) pages of content, for long papers, and to five (5) pages, for short papers and system demonstrations, excluding unlimited pages for acknowledgments and references – so that reviewers’ comments can be taken into account.

文件格式規范（Style Files and Formatting）

*The ACL template MUST be used for your submission(s). If not, your submission(s) will be rejected.

• Both long and short papers must follow the?paper formatting guidelines of *ACL conferences, using the?supplied style files.
• Style files are directly available (LaTeX,?Word).
• The Overleaf template is also available?here
• Please do not modify these style files, or use templates designed for other conferences. Submissions that do not conform to the required styles, including paper size, margin width, and font size restrictions, will be rejected without review.

Each COLING 2022 submission can be accompanied by a single PDF appendix, one .tgz or .zip archive containing software, and one .tgz or .zip archive containing data. COLING 2022 encourages the submission of these supplementary materials to improve the reproducibility of results, and to enable authors to provide additional information that does not fit in the paper. For example, preprocessing decisions, model parameters, feature templates, lengthy proofs or derivations, pseudocode, sample system inputs/outputs, and other details that are necessary for the exact replication of the work described in the paper can be put into the appendix. However, the paper submissions need to remain fully self-contained, as these supplementary materials are completely optional, and reviewers are not even asked to review or download them. If the pseudo-code or derivations or model specifications are an important part of the contribution, or if they are important for the reviewers to assess the technical correctness of the work, they should be a part of the main paper, and not appear in the appendix. Supplementary materials need to be fully anonymized to preserve the double-blind reviewing policy.

Please note that extra space is allowed after the 8th page (4th page for short papers) for an ethics/broader impact statement. At submission time, this means that if you need extra space for the ethical considerations section, it should be placed after the conclusion so that it is possible to rapidly check that the rest of the paper still fits in 8 pages (4 pages for short papers). Ethical considerations sections, acknowledgements, and references do not count against these limits. For camera-ready versions 9 pages of content will be allowed for long (5 for short) papers. 這里的acl.tex和acl_latex.tex是一樣的內容，因而在使用時，只需要修改使用其中一個就行了。這里推薦修改acl_latex.tex文件，因為overleaf默認會打開編譯這個文件。

ACL的正文模板一共有三頁，其頁面如下：

首選使用pdflatex引擎，如果編碼非拉丁字符，推薦使用Xelatex。

序言（Preamble）

文章的第一段必須為：

在review階段，需要加上這一句命令

\usepackage[review]{acl}

如果論文被接收，則在最終提交時不需要使用上一句review命令，而是使用

\usepackage{acl}

為了使用Times Roman字體，需要加上這個命令：

像txfonts或newtx這樣的字體也可以接受。

使用\title設置標題，\author設置作者。在作者列表內，使用\and或\And或\AND來連接多個作者。這里，latex源碼給出了一個示例代碼，即

可以使用\setlength\titlebox{<dim>}\命令來修改title和author部分的box大小，默認為5cm。自定義設置時，不能將其小于5cm。

Bib文件

Unicode不能在BibTEX條目中使用，一些鍵入特殊字符的方法會打亂BibTEX的字母順序。輸入特殊字符的推薦方式如表1所示。如果可能，請確保Bib記錄包含DOIs或URL字段，以及您引用的所有ACL材料。使用doi字段記錄DOIs，url字段記錄URL信息。如果一個bib條目包含doi或url，那么在點擊時將會直接鏈接到相應的資源。
