與xp、win2003相比，win7、win2008（包括win2008R2）系統(tǒng)中，存放用戶數(shù)據(jù)（user data）和系統(tǒng)數(shù)據(jù)（system data）的默認(rèn)文件夾位置發(fā)生變化。例如，在xp中存放用戶數(shù)據(jù)的文件為%SystemDrive%\Documents and Settings；在win7中則為%SystemDriver%\User。這樣的變化無疑對以前應(yīng)用程序能否在win7下順利帶來兼容性問題。為了最大程度地保證對以前在xp運(yùn)行程序的兼容性，在win7中采用了junction points（連接點）技術(shù)。通過這個技術(shù)，原來在xp下運(yùn)行的程序?qū)?SystemDrive%\Documents and Settings文件夾下的數(shù)據(jù)存取操作，能自動的更改到%SystemDriver%\User文件夾。

我們可以將junction point看做是一個快捷方式（shortcut） ，它具有以下特性：

• 具有FILE_ATTRIBUTE_REPARSE_POINT, FILE_ATTRIBUTE_HIDDEN, and FILE_ATTRIBUTE_SYSTEM屬性
• 具有ACLs（Access Control Lists），拒絕everyone的讀操作

這樣，在win7系統(tǒng)中，只有具有存取權(quán)限，舊程序?qū)鲜铰窂降恼{(diào)用會通過 junction point，轉(zhuǎn)而存取win7下的用戶數(shù)據(jù)文件或系統(tǒng)數(shù)據(jù)文件夾。

例如win7為每個用戶創(chuàng)建連接點，將舊式的?C:\Users\username\My Documents指向win7下C:\Users\username\Documents。?下表是
