1 課文

Why do people think the writer is mad?

Aeroplanes are slowly driving me mad. I live near an airport and passing planes can be heard night and day.

2.1 mad [m?d] adj. 發(fā)瘋

2.3 sum [s?m] n. 量

3 語法講解

3.1 什么是被動(dòng)

被動(dòng)語態(tài)。（主語和動(dòng)作是被做的關(guān)系，用被動(dòng)語態(tài)）

3.2 結(jié)構(gòu)：

be + done。done 被動(dòng)的動(dòng)作,be 被動(dòng)的時(shí)間/單復(fù)數(shù)。

3.3 與時(shí)態(tài)結(jié)合

他每天被打 He is beaten every day.
他昨天被打 He was beaten yesterday.
他明天將要被打 He will be beaten tomorrow.
他現(xiàn)在正在被打. He is being beaten.
他現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)被打. He has been beaten.

公式
have/has been done. 現(xiàn)在完成時(shí)的被動(dòng)。（現(xiàn)在的之前被…）
am/is/are + being done 現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)的被動(dòng)。（現(xiàn)在正被…）

3.4 與情態(tài)相結(jié)合

Planes are heard.
Planes can be heard.
Planes could be heard. (飛機(jī)過去能被聽見)
Planes may be heard.
Planes must be hear.

3.5 doing 修飾名詞，做定語。表示主動(dòng)，正在進(jìn)行。

【短放前，長放后。1 個(gè)詞放n前，詞組放n后面】

doing + n
passing planes 正在經(jīng)過飛機(jī)
a waiting car. 一個(gè)正在等著的車
a sleeping baby. 一個(gè)正在睡覺的車

n + doing 詞組
a women wearning a white coat 一個(gè)正穿著白大衣的女人。

3.6 done 修飾名詞，做定語

【短放前，長放后。1 個(gè)詞放n前，詞組放n后面】
done + 名詞
used cars 被使用的車
wasted time 被浪費(fèi)的時(shí)間
a deserted car park 被遺棄的停車場
a developed country 被發(fā)展完的國家

left 例外，通常放在被修飾名詞后面
I am one of the few people left.我是少數(shù)被落下的人之一。left修飾people 被落下。

名詞+done 詞組
a car called Blue Bird。一個(gè)被叫做藍(lán)鳥的車。

4 課文講解

1 Aeroplanes arc slowly driving me rnad.飛機(jī)正在逐漸把我逼瘋。drive someone mad,逼瘋。

2 passing planes can be heard night and day。過往飛機(jī)日夜不絕于耳。在句中passing用來修飾名詞planes，起形容詞作用，是一個(gè)現(xiàn)在分詞。

3 came into use，啟用。

4 Over a hundred people must have been driven away from their homes by the noise.有100多人肯定是被噪音逼得離家遠(yuǎn)去。情態(tài)動(dòng)詞must+完成時(shí)態(tài)，是對(duì)過去事情的推測，猜惻某一事情肯定已經(jīng)發(fā)生。drive away 趕走，逼走。
