According to the continuity conditions on the interface of potential barrier and potential well, the wave functions on the two sides of interface of potential well and potential barrier can be extended into a number of linear equations which can be expressed with a matrix equation and the transmission coefficient can be obtained with matrix left division command in MATLAB. The general computing code is presented in this paper and the techniques for judging the correctness of the computation results is described. It is concise in concept, convenient in operation, practical in universality and with little efforts in programming.
